Baby Jay

What can I say about our sweet Baby Jay, I LOVE LOVE LOVE her!! She is growing up way to fast though, right now her favorite show is RIO and she LOVES her Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals. She's just about 16 months and boy does she have the attitude of a 16 year old, she got that from me unfortunately. I definitely think it is safe to say that she is a DADDY'S GIRL through and through, if Kitaro is in the room or even just the house its "mom who??"

I'm Back!! Brace yourself, LOTS OF PICTURES!!

Finally I am back to blogging :D I have been so sick for the past few weeks, the thought of doing anything but sleep was overwhelming. So much has happened in the past month its ridiculous haha so I am going to start from the beginning!! We moved home to good old Tooele, Utah and have loved spending time with family! Unfortunately, moving home early came with a big price :( saying good bye to Daddy was super hard and extremely emotional. Jordyn did really well on the plane, thank goodness,  in fact she slept the whole second flight! The best part of all is I didn't throw up one time during the trip, WOOT! WOOT! Heavenly father was looking out for me :D Well, we made it home and gave Jordyn her first Oreo cookie, who would of thought one little cookie could make such a mess hahahaha

IT'S A BOY!!
Since being home I FINALLY went to my first baby appointment!  On September 6th, 2012 We found out that I have lost 20 lbs so far, I am 14 weeks along and we are having a baby BOY!! Kitaro and I are so stinking excited its ridiculous haha Now I can finally start taking photos for his memory book. Its pretty awesome finding out you are already 14 weeks pregnant and only have 26 more to go! I kind of feel like I cheated and skipped 3 1/2 months ahead of schedule haha SWEET!! So as of right now our baby boy is due March 5th, 2013 and all I can think about is BRING ON THE BABY CLOTHES! Sadly the photo machine wasn't working so they couldn't give me any pictures, but when I go back on the 24th I have been promised lots :D

Labor Day 2012!
Unfortunately, we spent labor day away from daddy, but being with Heder family was full of memories. We went to the Deseret Peak Pool for a couple hours and then headed to the canyon for some hot dogs and smores :D
Things we discovered along the way:
- Jordyn has no fear of water or how deep it is
- My dad can eat ketchup with anything BUT hot dogs or else he will gag
- Jordyn LOVES Salt and Vinegar chips
- I burn way to easily now
and theres nothing better then spending time with your loved ones around a campfire :D

HI DAD!!
WE
LOVE
YOU
xoxo

Jordyn LOVED feeding Grandpa Heder! She just had to make sure he ate his food too!

 Hugs and Kisses

They're the BEST!

Auntie Tina
We LOVE you!!
You make me laugh
You play with me
You give me
Lots of hugs
And most of all
You shower me with Kisses xoxox

Jordie Cakes
I swear she is growing up way too fast :(
It just doesn't seem fair, she's just about 18 months!

How far along am I??

I seriously don't know how far a long I am! I feel like I'm around 13 -14 weeks but I look like I'm 25 weeks, this is so confusing. Kitaro has made it his goal to help (how sweet huh!) so with every sale he makes, he also comes home with some new anti-nausea methods from each customer haha. I throw up all the time, with out cause, and I am so ready for it stop! In Kitaros hunt for my cure, we have discovered that vitamin B12 seems to really help :D I love that he is willing to go the distance and doing everything he can to try and help me! After taking the B12 vitamin this morning, I stopped throwing up and have had so much energy, so I guess that means I owe my amazing husband a BIG FAT THANK YOU!!! There isn't a whole lot going on right now here in texas, Jordyn is still crazy but she has moved onto Mulan for her movie choice. Kitaro is selling consistently and I am still very much pregnant :D I attached a photo of my HUMUNGOUS baby belly, that I think is only 13 weeks a long bahahaha but whatever. Well, I hope all is well in your lives! Sending our love xoxoxo

Its The Little Things That Make All The Difference

This week has been really hard, for the first time I found myself scared to be pregnant again. I felt like Jordyn had gone crazy and it took everything I had to keep up with her, how in the world could I handle two kids at a time?! If were being honest I can barely handle the child I have right now! As much as I love my baby girl and ALWAYS will, I couldn't help but feel like I was screwing up as a parent. It was about mid week when I realized that being a parent is ALWAYS going to be the hardest challenge in my life and thats OK!! Its no secret that parents want to be able to give their kids all their Love and Attention, but feel failure and disappointment when they are unable to. After saying my prayers I was reminded that YES, being a parent is so hard, but its not impossible! All it takes is me doing MY best each and everyday and making sure that the spirit is a constant in my home. I was so blinded by all the hard trials that make up being a parent, I completely over looked the small, yet perfect moments that make being a parent the BIGGEST blessing of my life! Am I still scared to have another baby hahaha that would be a big fat YES, but Im more EXCITED then scared now! I know that with the lords guidance I will be just fine :D I attached a video of Jordyn and Kitaro playing this morning to give you a glimpse of what I feel being a parent is all about! sending our love XOXOXOXOX

Fair Warning This Is Gross

First off, Jordyn is going to kill me one day for first taking these pictures and second sharing them with the world hahaha but this is PAY BACK!! I woke up bright and early to Jordyn talking her usual gibberish in her room, I brushed it off saying "well, she isn't crying so I can sleep for 15 minutes longer" BAD BAD BAD IDEA!! I got out of bed 15 minutes later walked to her bedroom door and I just knew I was in for something bad hahaha. Upon opening her door I was greeted by a poop covered Einstein baby and the evidence of her morning adventures! Jordyn has had a really hard time going to the bathroom lately :( her constipation was getting so bad I started giving her straight prune juice, instead of the watered down kind. I have also mentioned her Diaper vendetta, so you can see how she would want to rid herself of a full diaper ASAP! Not only was Baby Jay completely covered in poop, she had also covered the carpet, pack and play and walls with it as well! How in the world can so much come out of something so little??! On the bright side her constipation is better, but its safe to say NO MORE PRUNE JUICE! I took these pictures after cleaning her face and hands hahaha we strapped her in her booster seat with RIO on, so we could actually clean up her mess. Her hair was so funny, as you can see it seriously looks like Einstein hahahaha every time I said "Jordyn you booger" she made that crazy face and laughed! I am out of ideas and honestly I don't know what to do anymore :( I love her dearly, but this seriously needs to stop! Wish me the best of luck, Im going to need it!  xoxoxoxo

NINJA Baby!

So there are 2 parts to this post, sorry its a little wordy and long :D

You will not believe what I am about to tell you! I mean seriously if I hadn't seen it for myself I wouldn't believe it!! Lets start from the beginning, Jordyn has started this nasty habit of throwing EVERYTHING out of her crib, its quite frustrating. When I say everything I mean everything, including all her pooh bear characters, her blankets, the padding for her bed and oh don't forget even the mat at the bottom of her pack and play! So basically, once she has finished her daily routine, she is standing in a pack and play completely stripped of anything making it comfortable ugh! Now to make matters worse she has this vendetta with her diaper and refuses to wear it at all cost! Meaning she has figured out how to remove any bottoms she is wearing and then her diaper, no matter how full it is ew ew ew! I don't care how many kids you have NO ONE likes to clean poop off their kids face, fingers and any surface they decided to smear it on! Now,with all that said this is the real kicker, my crazy child has found that her bed is not doing it for her anymore and she wants out! Just yesterday I laid her down for her noon nap and went into the living room to grab her blanket. On my return I saw her lift her leg to the pack and play rail and swing her body up and over. Now the crazy part is, she was straight as a board and when she saw me she just smiled and swirled herself back to the bed, put her feet down and started to laugh while saying "Hi".  CAUGHT RED HANDED JORDYN!! Heaven help me, this child is WAY to smart for her MY own good! Oh did I mention she is only 16 months, basically, my only solution is to put zip up footsies on her and chain her to the bed, just to get her to nap and keep her stinking diaper on! I retold the tale to Kitaro when he got home from work and all he had to say was "SWEET!! We have a Ninja baby!!" hahaha Im glad something about this situation is funny, thats one of the many reasons I love my husband :D he can always find a way to make me laugh when all I want to do is cry.

Things I have learned:
#1. NEVER buy a cheap Pack and Play, they brake so easily it just isn't worth it! I mean seriously, if your baby can tear the bottom out of it,  thats saying something about the quality haha
#2. Cheap wipes aren't worth it! They rip and its gross!! Just spend the extra dollar for the good soft ones :D Besides they come in handy when you have a cold!
#3. PAMPERS!  PAMPERS! PAMPERS! I totally understand the need to save money, but do it somewhere else other then cheap diapers! Theres nothing worst then your baby waking up from naps or in the morning soaking wet along with all her bedding! If that doesn't convince you then the realization that you will go through WAY more cheap diapers a day then you will with say........ Pampers, it equals out. So just save yourself all that time and laundry and just buy Pampers :D (swaddlers then cruisers)
#4. NOTHING about being a mom is easy, but its worth it. I truly believe there is no greater blessing then being a mom!
#5. Parenting takes both a MOM and a DAD!! You don't have to do EVERYTHING just because you are the mom! Having your husband change diapers, give baths, do reading time and feed meals give him a chance to have his own bonding time. Ya, most the time they suck at it at first haha but they get better and less awkward and you get a little break :D then its never just one parents responsibility to do the fun and not so fun things!

LET THE CRAVINGS BEGIN!

I didn't realize how different this pregnancy would be compared to my first one with Jordyn. My body is changing so fast and my cravings have been so different! I remember being pregnant with Jordyn and my baby bump didn't start showing until about 12 weeks and it wasn't really noticeable until 16-20 weeks! With this pregnancy its working in double time haha granted I don't have an exact due date yet or know how far a long I am :( were just guessing until I get back to utah and into my doctor who delivered Jordyn. So far the clinic I went to said Im 10 weeks, which was 2 -3 weeks ago so I'm about 13 weeks now and My belly looks like I am closer to 16-20 weeks. The doctor said with a woman's 2nd pregnancy and up, their body just knows what to do and it changes so fast. He even said most woman deliver early on their 2nd child, honestly Im just hoping that I don't blow up twice the size I was with Jordyn haha that would NOT be good!! My cravings have been so weird and totally random, One moment ALL I can think of is Nutella and the next KFC mash potatoes and gravy has consumed my thoughts! Fruit snacks have been a constant craving and I have found my absolute favorite :D Welch's real fruit!! Yummy! I have my first real baby appointment in Tooele on Sept. 5th and the ultra sound on the 6th :D I seriously can't wait to be home and I can't wait to finally see my precious baby! Hope all is well with you and your families, sending our love XOXoxOxoXO

Lazy Sundays

I don't know about you, but Sunday naps are at the top of my FAVORITES list!! It's so HOT in texas, the only time people are outside is if their in a pool or lake!! With it being over 106 degrees we opted to stay inside today and enjoy our lovely air-conditioned home. With me being pregnant I keep the apartment really cold, so cold in fact Kitaro will wrap up in a blanket and put on his sweats hahaha I can't help myself :D we don't have to pay utilities out here, THANK HEAVENS!!  Jordyn is doing great, she has been sick for the past couple weeks with a nasty cold that just won't seem to go away. It seems to FINALLY be going away, so thats good :D Church has definitely been interesting with her though. I seriously wish she could go to nursery, she would love it and I would be able to actually enjoy church again; only a couple more months and we will be free!! Sacrament is a whole other story, we go to church with a diaper bag stuffed of goodies and toys to keep her distracted. Unfortunately, she only lasts until mid meeting and then she is done and ready to run around. I needed to do something to try and distract her, so I recently made some finger puppets and, for now, she seems entertained for at least 20 minutes longer. If you have any suggestions I am more then open to hear them haha please don't be stingy if you have something that might help :D Well, I posted some pics of our Baby Jay so enjoy!! We send our love XoxOXoXoxOx

Movie Theater Adventures

Hey guys,
So Kitaro and I decided to take Jordyn with us to see Batman and the only way she would leave the house was if she could bring her POOH BEAR! Of course, we said yes and the family piled in the car and off we went to the movies. For the first time Jordyn experienced escalators and all that girl wanted to do was go up and down them with dad. Finally we made our way through the crowd of excited Batman fans and found our seats, the whole time Im praying she will be good so we can enjoy our family time. Jordyn sat through the whole movie on Kitaros lap, THANK HEAVENS, totally memorized by the movie. She even said "uh oh" at just the right times when Bang would come on, causing the audience to laugh several times. Thank Heavens she likes movies or Kitaro and I would never get to go on dates haha that would not be good! Kitaro is doing great out here in Ft. Worth, Texas! He LOVES his job and is finding that he is actually pretty good at sales. I am still Pregnant and still SUPER sick :( Im sure all you other moms can relate with being so sick you don't know how you will get through another minute, let alone another day or even 6 more months. Finally, I humbled myself and realized the one person who knows exactly what I am going through and what I need is my Heavenly Father. I find myself praying for help constantly and the lord has sent it without fail and not by just making me stop throwing up, but he has used friends and family as well. I feel very blessed and so grateful to have a Father who is so willing to help me in my time of need and for all of those who have been so in tune with the spirit and an answer to my prayers. I humbly thank you all!!! Well, I hope all is well with each and every one of you, we send our love and best wishes!!   XOxoxOxOX

My First Blog

Hey friends and family!!
Well, first off we LOVE you all and miss you so much! I created this blog so I could keep everyone updated on our fun, crazy, exciting, adventurous and definitely chaotic life. We move so much for Kitaro's summer sales job with Vivint, we are gone pretty much every summer :( Its definitely hard to be so far away from family, when we are all so close knit and use to having each other right around the corner. Keep in mind that I am not a writer ha ha that would be my dad, the author. So forgive any grammar errors and know that my intentions are well placed. I look forward to hearing from all of you and how your families are doing!! Please Please Please leave a comment with your blog information if you have one, that way I can keep up with your lives and feel a little closer to home. Once again we really do LOVE and MISS you all terribly xOXoXoxOx
